Bill & Dot Skinner were very giving people. They gave of their time and money to local charities that were important to them.

Dot spent many hours helping to feed the homeless at the St. Cecilia's Homeless Shelter.

Bill helped run the Teaneck 4th of July Parade for many years.
He was also instrumental in the early growth of the Biddy Basketball program in Teaneck.

For many years they helped run the Teaneck Athletic Boosters for Teaneck High School where they helped raise money for scholarships and awards for Teaneck High School Athletes.
St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church For thirty plus years Bill and Dot belonged to St. Joseph's parish in Bogota, NJ. Bill spent many years on the Finance Committee for the Parish Council and helped the parish raise money for the improvement of the school and church. Dot helped organize the volunteers who would go twice a year to the homeless shelter to cook. WDSF has contributed a total of $12000 to St. Joseph's from 2001-2003.
