Bill & Dot Skinner were very giving people. They gave of their time and money to local charities that were important to them. Dot spent many hours helping to feed the homeless at the St. Cecilia's Homeless Shelter. Bill helped run the Teaneck 4th of July Parade for many years. He was also instrumental in the early growth of the Biddy Basketball program in Teaneck. For many years they helped run the Teaneck Athletic Boosters for Teaneck High School where they helped raise money for scholarships and awards for Teaneck High School Athletes. Student Scholarship Annually WDSF gives 2 students from Teaneck High School scholarship money to help with their tuition in college. The first scholarship is for any athlete in the top 25% of graduating seniors and is for $3000. The second scholarship started in 2003 and is given to a THS football player for $2500.
