Bill & Dot Skinner were very giving
people. They gave of their time and money to local charities that were important to them. Dot spent many hours helping to feed the homeless at the St. Cecilia's Homeless Shelter. Bill helped run the Teaneck 4th of July Parade for many years. He was also instrumental in the early growth of the Biddy Basketball program in Teaneck. For many years they helped run the Teaneck Athletic Boosters for Teaneck High School where they helped raise money for scholarships and awards for Teaneck High School Athletes. Charities St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church Thanks to the outstanding results of the golf outings, the Foundation has donated $16000 to St. Joseph's Church in the name of Bill and Dot Skinner. Inter-Religious Fellowship for the Homeless Dot Skinner spent much of her time in helping feed the homeless at the St. Cecilia's Homeless Shelter in Englewood, NJ. This is one of the many programs run by the Inter-Religious Fellowship for the Homeless. The Foundation donated $20000 to the Fellowship. Student Scholarship Historically, Bill and Dot Skinner were major contributors to local athletic causes. The Foundation has established a scholarship for a local student at Teaneck High School to help them in their collegiate aspirations. Last year's recipient was Sayida Lowe who is attending Spelman College. The Foundation donated $3000 to the college to help pay for her tuition. Scholarship Winners
